A traditional meze or light meal on the island of Crete, Ntakos is easy to make with few ingredients and no cooking. If you can't find rusks, dry bread, or use a thick slice of grilled or toasted crusty country bread (without the water).

I would like to start this section with a dish that i personaly like very much. The so called Saganaki,a fried cheese :) It is a simple dish which can be maid easily at home even when you are back from holidays
